Jiefang

Jiefang was the first of a series of utility trucks produced in China by First Automobile Works. The CA10 military truck was the first of its series and also the first mass produced automobile in China. Since its production in 1956, Jiefang trucks were widely used around the country for over 30 years. It played a central roll in the development of modern China. The old Jiefang models, CA10, CA15 and CA30 went out of production in 1986 with over 1 million trucks produced. The usage of the trucks covered the whole perimeter of China even reaching the highest plateau on earth – the Tibetan Plateau
